“Giddy Up and Give” Live & Silent Dinner Auction
Thanks to everyone who helped contribute, volunteer, and attend this year's Giddy Up and Give auction, we were able to raise over $33,000!!!
Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the MVCS Gymnasium.
It will be a fun night of celebration as we showcase some of Mid Vermont's talented students, honor our teachers, enjoy delicious food and fellowship and of course bid on amazing prizes! We have some new ideas to make this a fun and festive event you don't want to miss as we celebrate what God is doing at Mid Vermont.
How can you help?
- Attend the fundraiser and invite your family, friends and neighbors! We would love it if every MVCS family would invite 2 or more guests. Please consider making this a date night and coming with your spouse for an extra discount. We will also be offering childcare for MVCS families for a small cost.
- Help serve! We need all hands on deck to make this night successful. We are asking each family to sign up for at least one area of service for the event. Please sign up on the form below. (You will be able to have a table seat and dinner to be able to participate and serve).
- Pray! We want to work heartily to the Lord as we plan the best event possible and are asking that He helps us to reach our goals of celebrating God's faithfulness through the life of our school, building community as we share a fun evening together and meeting our fundraising goal of raising $25,000.
Funds go directly to the MVCS Financial Assistance program that enables the school to continue our school ministry and to offer Variable Tuition to all families who want to provide an education of excellence for their children.
Mid Vermont Christian School has been serving families in the Upper Valley region since opening its doors in 1987. Our Preschool through 12th grade school has a mission to glorify God by preparing students for college and for life through a program of academic excellence established in Biblical truth.
We Appreciate Your Consideration in Submitting a Donation
Our Auction Catalog will list your establishment’s name, donation item and its retail value, along with any information or specifics you provide. This event offers donors a great opportunity for advertising and increased customer patronage that can last far beyond the day of the auction. Donations are tax-deductible based on the retail value of the donation. Some items will be posted with a minimum bid amount, at the discretion of the MVCS Auction Committee.
Thank you for your kind consideration. If you are interested in donating items and/or to be listed in our Auctions catalog, please download, and complete the attached donation form. We kindly request the form be returned to us no later than March 4th.
If you're an individual who would still like to donate prizes for the auction, we would greatly appreciate your contribution. A short list of ideas to inspire you are:
Family game night basket - your favorite board game, bag of candy and popcorn
Bird-watching basket - bird feeder, bag of bird seed, bird identifier book
Day at the Lake basket - beach towel, sunscreen/bug spray, frisbee, beach chairs, etc.
Items that we could add with other items to make up some fun baskets.
